UltraShock is a powerful interactive 3D particle shading solution for creating amazing volumetric effects. Real particle motion data is used to render particles, and it is completely compatible with all standard particle systems in 3ds max. A unique interface allows the user to adjust all dynamic parameters interactively and view the results instantly without leaving the rollup interface. Final images can be previewed while working on other scene geometry. You can preview the shading effects without leaving the rollup interface of the particle system you’re adjusting. UltraShock includes an easy to use interface, two preview windows, tons of parameters based upon particles age, new multi-functional gradients, it’s own plug-in support, and a collection of predefined Shock files for you to start animating right out of the box.
With the introduction of PhantomRay you can now create photo-realistic effects of outstanding quality. Incorporated with additional special effects plug-ins which allow you to have more control over the resulting motion, noise, color, and rendering speed. This powerful addition expands UltraShock into the atmospheric raytracing category. PhantomRay is fast, and a fully controllable pyroclastic effects generator. Designed exclusively for the professional effects industry.
UltraShock Combustion is not a plug-in to overlook. With the introduction of our photo-realistic PhantomRay, we have matched it’s features with this faster performing raytracer. Specifically designed to create fire, and soft steam. Combustion includes every feature found in PhantomRay, with interaction with scene lighting and shadows, and the ability to handle large particle counts. UltraShock Combustion allows you to create atmospheric effects much faster than Max’s normal volumetric effects, hidden inside Combustion is an optimized raytracer, a self shadowing simulator, and a lot more.
ComicShock will add a little 2D to your 3D pyroclastic effects. This plug-in enhancement is completely compatible with ComicShop toon renderer, and can produce outstanding toon style effects. It’s already being used in children’s TV shows, and it’s just a really fun one to play with
